COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Timboon and District Healthcare Service (TDHS) is taking all reasonable measures to reduce the spread and severity of COVID-19 and support our community during this time.

Visitors please be aware of the following restrictions:

As part of our response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have reduced non-essential services and visitor numbers. Although we understand this may cause disappointment, we have put these measures in place to protect staff, residents and patients as well as you as part of our broader community. Please call ahead on 5558 6000 to check current visitor restrictions prior to visiting to avoid disappointment.

Visitors must abide by the following restrictions: 

  • All visitors must access our healthcare service through the main entrance;
  • All visitors will be screened prior to entry for signs of COVID-19 by answering some questions and have their temperature checked and are required to do a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)
  • Maintain 1.5m distance from residents, patients, employees and other visitors
  • Wear a mask
  • If you suspect you have COVID-19 and/or display any mild symptoms like fever, sweats or chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose and/or loss of sense of smell or taste, please call ahead on 5558 6000 and we will assess and support you.
