Today is International Volunteer Day (IVD) 2019 and this year’s theme is “Volunteer for an inclusive future”.

We are blessed to have a wonderful army of volunteers who give their time so generously so that we can provide a number of critical services, including meals on wheels, community driving and our social support group.

Today highlights volunteers who contribute to inclusion and the reduction of inequality. TDHS community health nurse Amanda Nash is one example of a local volunteer who goes over and beyond to make a difference.
