25 Jan Video #1 January | Tracey Heeps | 2021 International Year of the Health and Care Worker
Last year we took the opportunity to highlight the diversity of our dedicated nurses and midwives working at our healthcare service with monthly personal stories as the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared 2020 as the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife.
This year has been designated by the WHO as the International Year of the Health and Care Workers, recognising the dedication and sacrifice of the millions of health and care workers at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Health and care workers play a critical role in ensuring our health and prosperity and this is a team effort, which includes Nursing Staff, Midwives and Doctors, but also Community Care Workers, Allied Health Workers, Hotel Services Staff and Front Desk Staff.
TDHS continues to put the spotlight on our wonderful health and care workers in 2021 giving you the opportunity to get to know more of our “Champions of Change” who work at our healthcare service working together for a healthy community.
This month, our new video series features Allied Health Assistant, Tracey Heeps.
