This Thursday | TDHS AGM | Virtual event featuring Fiona Brew

TOMORROW | TDHS AGM | VIRTUAL EVENT

FEATURING TWO SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS FOR OUR COMMUNITY:
FIONA BREW – CEO COLAC AREA HEALTH
DOCTOR RUTH VINE – AUSTRALIA’S FIRST DEPUTY CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER FOR MENTAL HEALTH

We are excited!!

Only 1 day to go until our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held virtually for the first time due to our healthcare service’s COVID Safe plan.

Our virtual Annual General Meeting means you do not have to travel – you can join us from the comfort of your home and listen to what we have achieved during 2019/2020. We have overcome many challenges and kept you safe and want to share our journey with you.

We have incorporated some staff videos and community feedback and also managed to review the impact of COVID with two very impressive guest speakers. Last week we introduced one of our guest speakers Dr Ruth Vine, Australia’s first Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Mental Health at the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, who will talk about the mental health challenges we all faced, one way or another, during this challenging year.

Our other guest speaker is Mrs Fiona Brew, Chief Executive Officer at Colac Area Health. She reviews the Colac/TDHS partnership and the impact this had in successfully managing and containing the COVID outbreaks in Colac and preventing them from spreading further into neighbouring communities, including Timboon and District.

Fiona Brew

Colac Area Health CEO Fiona Brew

Her experience includes nursing, consultant and corporate roles giving her a breadth of experience and depth of knowledge of the Victorian healthcare system.

Due to COVID-19 this interview with Fiona had to be pre-recorded, preventing us from taking questions on the night, but if you have any questions for Fiona after the interview, please email them to enquiries@timboonhealthcare.com.au or give us a call on 03 5558 6029 and we will forward them onto her for follow up.

If you cannot join us on the night, you can request a recorded copy by calling 03 5558 6029 after the event.

So tomorrow night at 7.30 pm, make yourself a cuppa, put your feet up in front of your computer and accompany us on an informative ride through 2019-2020 from the comfort of your own home as we keep working together for a healthy community!
