TDHS farewells CEO Rebecca Van Wollingen

TDHS farewells CEO Rebecca Van Wollingen

From Frank Carlus TDHS Board Chair

On behalf of the TDHS Board of Directors, it is with regret that I announce the forthcoming departure of our CEO, Rebecca Van Wollingen.

Bek tendered her resignation this week, her last day will be the 9th of September 2022.

At the outset we wish to acknowledge and thank Bek for her outstanding contribution to TDHS and the community that we serve through some very difficult circumstances over the last three and a half years. We will arrange for a formal farewell and acknowledgement prior to Bek’s departure.

We will commence the CEO recruitment process ASAP, we anticipate the process will take 3-4 months. In the mean time we will appoint an interim CEO before Bek’s departure. Once clarified we will share the decision with all staff.

Bek is leaving to take up a position at Safer Care Victoria, as Director Safety Improvement. Bek has made significant safety improvements at TDHS, we believe she will be a valuable addition to the state-wide team. We wish Bek all the best in this new role.

We will endeavour to keep you informed during this transition period, but should you wish to contact me to discuss further I am available via email (tchair.tdhs@swarh.vic.gov.au) or phone (0418 254 504).
