19 Oct Mass community COVID-19 testing at TDHS

Tomorrow and Thursday between 9am and 4pm community members who are symptomatic and asymptomatic will be able to get tested in their cars, by attending our main hospital entrance.

Traffic controllers will be onsite to direct drivers where to go.

As we continue to learn to live with COVID-19 cases in the community, TDHS will be required to set up these mass testing events from time to time.

You do not need to book for testing on these two days – however we do ask that only primary close contacts attend tomorrow (Wednesday) morning before midday. This will provide three dedicated hours for close contacts to be prioritised.

We ask that impacted community members’ privacy be protected and that everyone acts in a manner that is respectful. Please don’t get frustrated if there are delays with the testing – everyone is doing their best.
