TDHS Face Masks

Face masks now available to community members most in need

We’ve had such a wonderful response from community members making face masks that we can start handing them out to community members most in need.

From 11.59pm tonight, all Victorians are required to wear a face mask in public places. Anyone in our community who is unable to buy or source a face mask will be provided with a free mask at TDHS from 8.30am tomorrow (Monday).

If you miss out on Monday, many more are being made to distribute in the days ahead. We will take your details and let you know when more are ready.

As this pandemic continues, the important thing is that everyone in the community has equal access to transmission prevention and we’re committed to that. So, if you are in need and require a TDHS face mask to meet the statewide requirement please come to reception and ask for one.

If there are others doing the same thing, please social distance. It may be required to wait in your car until other people have left.

A gold coin donation for the masks, from those who can, will be donated to domestic violence services Emma House in Warrnambool and Orange Door in Colac.
