Gary Castledine

Chief Executive Officer

BAppSc BA DipAmbParamedic MEthicsLeg

Gary has spent over two decades in the healthcare sector, most recently as the Integrity Officer for Ambulance Victoria (AV). In fact, Gary was employed for about 25 years at AV and prior to this, was a police officer for 3 years.

During his time as a paramedic based in Timboon, Gary was involved in the development of an emergency action plan for the town in 2009/2010, following the Black Saturday Fires. He was also one of the first occupants of the then new ambulance station which opened in June 2010.

In addition to Gary’s experience in the health industry, and devotion to public service, he is a firm believer in continuous improvement and has continued to study throughout his working life. However, even with all the work and study, Gary makes sure he spends as much time as possible with his wife Melissa, also a paramedic, and their three children.
