Tai Chi is a low-impact exercise option combining slow, intentional movements, linked with breath to promote physical health and wellbeing. Tai chi can be useful for managing the symptoms of chronic conditions like arthritis, diabetes, and cardiovascular health, particularly in older adults. Tai Chi can be helpful for falls prevention and general health, enhancing neuromuscular control, balance and strength. Tai chi is also acknowledged to be good for brain health.

Often tai chi is a useful entry back into exercise, when people are looking to start moving again after a period of ill health, or have just had a long break away from structured exercise. It’s a great way to build confidence back into moving safely.
