The Year That Was – THDS AGM Event Summary
On Tuesday 25 November 2025, TDHS hosted our Annual General Meeting, “The Year That Was 24/25”, with over 70 attendees joining us for a day of reflection, storytelling and celebration. ✨
🎗️ We were honoured to welcome Margaret Zita OAM, CEO of My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, who delivered a powerful presentation about her 25+ years supporting children and families facing cancer.
💛 Margaret was joined by TDHS staff member Pene Reidl and her son Hugo, who bravely shared their personal journey — including special memories like meeting Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas.

🍽️ The event wrapped up with a delicious lunch catered by The Fat Cow and a fun trivia quiz, creating a warm and uplifting finish to a meaningful community gathering. 💙💚
