Walk to School 2018

Corangamite kids and families were encouraged to get active last month by taking part in Vic Health’s Walk to School Program. The good habits established over October are hoped to become a regular part of the students’ day.

TDHS Community Health Nurse Amanda Nash and Community Dietitian Diana D’Auria supported Timboon P-12 School in hosting a healthy breakfast on Tuesday 16th October.

An array of fresh fruit, yoghurt, as well as wholemeal toast with vegemite and cheese, was available.

Members of Victoria Police were also present and gave a talk on road and bike safety. 260 students and teachers were involved.
