Vacancies | Nurses (RN & EN) and Community Care Workers

Timboon & District Healthcare Service have a number of positions available including Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse and Home and Community Care Workers.

Registered Nurse Division 1 Grade 2

PERMANENT PART TIME AND CASUAL POSITIONS

Timboon and District Healthcare Service (TDHS) provide a range of health services to the Timboon and surrounding areas. Increasing community health and general wellbeing is TDHS’s primary focus and the organization is now seeking a Permanent Part Time Registered Nurse to join the team.

The Registered Nurse is to deliver a standard of nursing care commensurate with ANMC – National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse. They should provide a consumer-centred approach to their nursing care which demonstrates a sound knowledge of TDHS policies, procedures and guidelines. The Registered Nurse should maintain a professional appearance and approach to the role at all times and convey those qualities to others including being an effective and supportive team player.

If you are a Registered Nurse holding a current registration certificate with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with experience in particular clinical areas, ability to organise work in a systematic and timely manner, flexible in a changing environment, demonstrated skills in teamwork and leadership, TDHS would welcome your application. Enrolled Nurse

PERMANENT PART TIME AND CASUAL POSITIONS

Timboon and District Healthcare Service (TDHS) provide a range of health services to the Timboon and surrounding areas. Increasing community health and general wellbeing is TDHS’s primary focus and the organization is now seeking Permanent Part Time and casual Enrolled nurses to join the team.

The Enrolled Nurse delivers a standard of nursing care commensurate with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council – National Competency standards.   for the Enrolled Nurse to provide a framework for clinical practice by having sound knowledge of Timboon and Districts Healthcare’s procedures and guidelines.  The position provides a consumer-centred approach to their nursing care, to provide compassion, empathy, and understanding to patients/residents and their families.  The Enrolled Nurse maintains a professional appearance and approach to the role at all times and conveys those qualities to others including being an effective and supportive team player.

Home and Community Care Worker

PERMANENT PART TIME AND CASUAL POSITIONS

Timboon and District Healthcare Service (TDHS) provide a range of health services to the Timboon and surrounding areas. Increasing community health and general wellbeing is TDHS’s primary focus and the organization is now seeking permanent and casual Home and Community Care Workers to join the team.

The Community Care Worker’s primary objective is to assist older people living independently in the community with activities relating to personal wellbeing, household management and lifestyle.   The position works in accordance with the Timboon and District Healthcare Policies and core values, and Active Service Model philosophy.  They should provide a consumer-centred approach to their care which demonstrates a sound knowledge of TDHS policies, procedures and guidelines.  The Home and Community Care Worker should maintain a professional appearance and approach to the role at all times and convey those qualities to others including being an effective and supportive team player.

If you are a Community Care Worker holding a minimum level Certificate 3 in Aged or Community Care, Current First Aid Certificate, National Police Check and Working With Children Check, Victorian Drivers Licence, excellent organisational skills, ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision, TDHS would welcome your application.
